What's in Store for Spring/Summer 2008?

It's been a whirlwind week spinning off of our recent trip to the Atlanta America's Mart - the place where all things "boutique" are presented to retailers. My head is still spinning from taking in all of the upcoming designs for clothing, decor and accessories for Spring/Summer 2008.

For the guys pirates, skulls and crossbones, vintage cars and sports motifs were embellishing everything from swim trunks to striped rugbys. Plaids were big and cargos continue to be the short of choice. Look for the Ju Ju Beane Boutique to feature Wes & Willy, Charlie Rocket and Flap Happy for the little guys.

This Chatti Patti halter dress from the Bloom collection is just one example of the citrus-hues that are dominating many popular boutique clothing lines. Chocolate and pink continues to be a favorite and black and white make a showing as well. Some of my favorites combined the mod retro prints and flower child patterns of the 60's with babydoll tops and flouncy skirts. Clearly the summer of love is coming our way.

Would anyone mind if we just skipped right over winter?
